our story

Face behind The Good Room
Roli Arora is The Good Room’s founder and a creative person at heart. Being a travel enthusiast, she loves to explore different corners of the world and spots the uniqueness which sets that place apart from other places. On one such venture, she came across the local artisans of India. Our country has a varied creative history, she was eager to conserve the age-old natural work of the artisans. As her knowledge evolved, so did her fascination and The Good Room was born.
Imperfectly Perfect
The beauty of handmade lies in the imperfections of each artisan’s craft skills. By embracing imperfections, we encourage the use of sustainable materials and support artisans who promote environmentally friendly practices. The process might be laborious, but the rewards are great; although block prints don’t have the detailed perfection of mechanised printing, they have charm by the bucket load.
